Almost every province and city in the Philippines has all kings of fiestas celebrated all year round that shows the rich culture of the country. This practice has been embedded in Filipino Tradition and believed to have started even before the coming of the Spaniards. In August 2017, the Municipality of Bayombong held its first Bayongyong Festival to celebrate its annual town and patronal fiesta. the word Bayongyong was chosen by the Fiesta Executive Committee as a reminder to the people of the history of Bayombong.

Founding Anniversary
April 12
Bayombong was formally founded on June 12, 1739 during the Mass officiated by Father Pedro Freire in a makeshift chapel at the foot of Bangan Hill. Gaddang songs and dances are usually performed during this event.
Mahal na Araw - 14 Stations of the Cross at Bangan Hill
Holy Week / Good Friday
Hundreds of people from Bayombong and neighboring municipalities flock to Bangan Hill to commemorate and witness the re-enactment of the 14 Stations of the Cross as told in the Bible.
Founding Anniversary
Last Week of October – November 2
The Municipality celebrates Halloween in coordination with the private sector and CSOs, decorating the Town Hall and holding activities in observance of the occasion.

Paskuhan sa Bayombong
A month-long Christmas celebration starting with the Parade of Lanterns and culminating with a New Year’s Eve fireworks display. It showcases Filipino traditions through decorations, dances, and songs.
